Triple-Chamber Hydraulic Mechanism
- Chamber A (Active Positioning): Controlled by a high-response servo valve to maintain precise payload heave compensation and cable tensioning.
- Chamber B (Passive Accumulator Tie-in): Permanently piped to external high-pressure SCHWERLL accumulator banks. Acts as a high-capacity gas-cushioned spring that passively absorbs up to 90% of massive wave heave energy with zero electrical power requirement.
- Chamber C (Emergency Dampening): Dedicated hydraulic cushion chamber with progressive metering orifices to prevent metal-to-metal end-stop collision under extreme sea state 6+ conditions.
